Each cake is made from 4 components: sponge, filling, flavoured buttercream between the layers & vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream on top.

Lemon & elderflower sponge with whole baked raspberries, lemon curd & raspberry buttercream

Summer carrot cake with coconut & cardamom, apricot jam & cream cheese buttercream

Chocolate Guinness cake, salted caramel & cream cheese buttercream

Sicilian orange & almond cake with apricot jam & earl grey buttercream

Seasonal sponge - Vanilla sponge with seasonal fruit compote & vanilla buttercream

CONSULTATION

If you are in Cornwall planing your wedding we can sit down and design your cake over a coffee while sampling all of the flavours. 

 

Sometimes it's easier to do it in person with a pen and paper and a few drawings. 

Contact me for the next tasting dates.

If you are planning from afar I can post a box containing all the samples to your door and we can arrange a video consultation. 

DECORATION STYLES

Knowing what sort of decoration you want can be hard and describing it is another thing all together! I have given some styles names so that we are all on the same page.

PETALFETTI

Covered in fresh or dried edible petals to complement your colour scheme.

HALO

Flowers arranged in rings around the base of each tier and in a halo around the top tier.

CRESCENT

Flowers arranged in a Moon shaped crescent on top of the cake.

MEADOW

Dried pressed flowers arranged with greenery as if they were still growing.

ACCENTS

Flowers arranged in groups around each tier. Great with large statement dahlias.

CASCADE

An overflowing swirl of flowers cascading down and around the side of your cake.

PRICING

Small two tier cakes serving 30+ from £180

Medium two tier cakes serving 60+ from £240 

Small three tier cakes serving 60+ from £300

Medium three tier cakes serving 90+ from £360

Large three tier cakes serving 150+ from £480

Between May & September my minimum order for Saturday weddings is £300

Terms & Conditions

By ordering from Oona’s Cakes, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions 

These terms form the basis of the contract between you and Oona’s Cakes. 

These terms, email correspondence and a confirmation email after our consultation are considered by us to set out the whole agreement between you and us for the sale of cakes. 

It is your responsibility to check all details in the order confirmation are complete and accurate as this is the document we work to when completing your order.

 

Deposits and Payments

A £100 deposit is required to secure your wedding date and is non refundable.

In the unlikely event that I have to cancel a full refund including deposit will be given.

 

In the event of a change of wedding date (due to another COVID outbreak or similar) I will try to accommodate your new wedding date, (this has been possible for every 2020 cake). 

If I am unable to accommodate your new date your deposit will not be refunded.

If you cancel altogether the deposit will not be refunded.

 

The final cost will be outlined in your confirmation email following our consultation.

Full payment is required 1 month before the wedding date, after this time no refunds will be given.

 

Cake Care

Cakes should be consumed within 24 hours of delivery.

They should be displayed out of direct sunlight, on a suitable stable surface and not above 25 degrees. 

 

Once a cake has been delivered to a venue and set up by us it is no longer our responsibility.

If a cake is being collected it will be packaged accordingly. We accept no responsibility for any damage sustained to the cake once it has left the premises.

 

Stacked cakes contain dowels in each tier to provide support and these should be removed before consumption.

 

Allergens

Our cakes are made in an environment where nuts, egg, milk, gluten and other allergens are present. We cannot guarantee that any cake is entirely nut free although we make every effort to ensure that allergies are accommodated.
